7 Bridges BBQ

There is a new event being staged in Grant Park’s 7 Bridges ravine, that will tempt your tastebuds and sooth your senses. Sponsored by Newaukee, the 7 Bridges BBQ features several local restaurant food sample stations, local brews, and music, too, as you wind your way down the trails toward the lakefront. Food tickets cost $25 each and can be purchased at newaukee.com.

Fall Adopt-a-Beach Clean-up Sept. 16th

The Friends of Grant Park and Alliance for the Great Lakes will sponsor a beach clean-up at Grant Park Beach on Saturday, Sept. 16th from 9 am to noon. If you can join us for an hour or three, come on down! We’ll provide a vinyl glove, a trash bag, bug spray and lemonade. You bring your good humor and determination to Keep It Clean! Register to participate at greatlakesadopt.org and search for the site Grant Park Beach: South of Playground to Oak Creek Jetty. Registration helps us plan for supplies needed.

The Alliance for the Great Lakes works to protect the Great Lakes for today and tomorrow. They involve tens of thousands of people each year in advocacy, volunteering, education, and research to ensure the lakes are healthy and safe for all.

We hope you can help us out. See you there!
